Service Agreement

By making a booking with us, you enter into a legally binding agreement to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information when making a booking
  • Be present at the pickup location at the agreed time
  • Pay the agreed fare and any additional charges incurred
  • Behave respectfully towards our drivers and follow their reasonable instructions
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations during the journey
  • Not engage in any illegal activities in our vehicles

Bookings and Reservations

Making a Booking

Bookings can be made through:

Booking Confirmation

All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation. You will receive a booking confirmation via email or SMS containing journey details. Please review this information carefully and contact us immediately if any details are incorrect.

Advance Booking

We recommend booking in advance, especially for airport transfers or during peak times. While we accept immediate bookings subject to availability, advance bookings help ensure vehicle availability.

Pricing and Payment

Fare Calculation

Fares are calculated based on:

  • Distance traveled (per Miles rate)
  • Journey duration (per hour rate for hourly bookings)
  • Vehicle class selected
  • Time of booking (peak hour surcharges may apply)
  • Additional services requested (meet & greet, extra stops, etc.)
Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods:

  • Cash (in local currency)
  • Credit/Debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
  • Online payment through our secure payment gateway
  • Corporate accounts (subject to approval)
Additional Charges

Additional charges may apply for:

  • Waiting time beyond the included grace period (£0.50 per minute)
  • Extra stops not included in the original booking (£5.00 per stop)
  • Tolls, parking fees, and congestion charges (at cost)
  • Cleaning fees for excessive mess or damage (up to £150.00)
  • Late-night or early-morning bookings (surcharge may apply)
VAT and Taxes

All prices include applicable VAT at the current rate. We will provide a receipt upon request.

Cancellations and Refunds

Customer Cancellation

Our cancellation policy is as follows:

  • More than 24 hours before pickup: Full refund
  • 12-24 hours before pickup: 50% refund
  • Less than 12 hours before pickup: No refund
  • No-show: Full charge applies
Company Cancellation

We reserve the right to cancel bookings in exceptional circumstances (e.g., severe weather, vehicle breakdown, driver illness). In such cases, we will:

  • Notify you as soon as possible
  • Attempt to arrange alternative transportation
  • Provide a full refund if alternative arrangements cannot be made
Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed within 5-10 business days to the original payment method.

Driver and Passenger Responsibilities

Driver Responsibilities

Our drivers will:

  • Arrive at the pickup location on time
  • Provide professional and courteous service
  • Maintain clean and well-maintained vehicles
  • Follow the safest and most efficient route (unless otherwise instructed)
  • Assist with reasonable luggage handling
  • Respect passenger privacy and confidentiality
Passenger Responsibilities

As a passenger, you must:

  • Be ready at the pickup location at the agreed time
  • Provide accurate contact information and journey details
  • Treat the driver and vehicle with respect
  • Not smoke or vape in the vehicle
  • Not consume alcohol or food without driver permission
  • Wear seatbelts at all times
  • Supervise children and ensure they are properly secured
  • Not engage in any behavior that distracts or endangers the driver

Safety and Conduct

Prohibited Behavior

The following behaviors are strictly prohibited:

  • Verbal or physical abuse towards drivers or staff
  • Damage to vehicles or property
  • Illegal activities including drug use or possession
  • Excessive intoxication that poses a safety risk
  • Smoking or vaping in vehicles
  • Carrying weapons or hazardous materials
Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate a journey if a passenger engages in prohibited behavior, poses a safety risk, or fails to comply with these Terms. No refund will be provided in such cases, and the full fare will be charged.

Liability and Insurance

Our Insurance

All our vehicles are fully insured for private hire operations as required by law. Our insurance covers passenger liability, third-party liability, and vehicle damage.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, or circumstances beyond our control
  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (e.g., missed flights due to traffic delays)
  • Our liability is limited to the fare paid for the journey in question
  • We are not liable for personal belongings left in vehicles (though we will make reasonable efforts to return them)
Personal Belongings

You are responsible for your personal belongings. We recommend checking the vehicle before leaving. Lost items should be reported immediately. We will store found items for 30 days.

Complaints and Disputes

We strive to provide excellent service. If you have a complaint or concern:

  • Contact us within 48 hours of the journey at info@globaltourism.uk
  • Provide your booking reference and details of the issue
  • We will investigate and respond within 5 business days
  • If you're not satisfied with our response, you may escalate to relevant regulatory authorities

Data Protection

Changes to These Terms
